Dr. Bridget Brady is focusing her practice on saving the thyroid gland. She has helped preserve thousands of thyroid glands with genetics and RFA (radiofrequency ablation) procedures. RFA is essentially heat therapy for the treatment of thyroid nodules / goiters which preserves thyroid function and avoids thyroid surgery.
Dr. Brady has performed more RFA cases than any other physician in the entire state of Texas. She has over 15 years of experience with outstanding outcomes and superior cosmetic results. Her primary goal is to save the thyroid gland whenever possible.

Dr. Bridget Brady grew up in Austin and is first fellowship–trained endocrine surgeon in the region. She has a passion for and expertise in diseases of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Dr. Brady is board-certified in general surgery and completed her endocrine surgery fellowship in 2006 under Matthias Rothmund, MD, an internationally acclaimed endocrine surgeon. She has performed thousands of thyroidectomies and parathyroidectomies here in Austin. Dr. Brady focuses on a variety of minimally invasive techniques to optimize patients’ medical and cosmetic outcomes.
